HEV suit.

The vents were based on this:

The armor on the hand is flexible kevlar mesh, plenty of room for moving the hand. :jizz::rabies:

Good luck letting go of the gun. Or the trigger for that matter.

The vents were based on a picture of a vortigaunt in a H.E.V?

Specifically this

v:|v not alot of good shots of the original suit on google…i’m assuming those modders just slapped a vort head on the original suit. Feel free to prove me wrong with a screencap, though.

I’m sorry, but how did you come up with a concept for hands using a [tiny] reference which has no hands?

Edit: And also, wouldn’t you want any vents facing outward so that they could discharge / draw away from the suit, as oppose to shooting hot air at the suit, or drawing in potential warm air from around the suit itself? In that regard, I think the BM hands make more sense.

Why would it have vents at all? It’s not fucking powered armor.

“high impact… reactive armour… activated…”

7… 8… 9… 10… It’s a knockout!

reactive != powered

Needing batteries to protect you from damage == powered.

Haha oh wow :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh dear…

Yeah? Well… You’re a jerk!

Ok it’ “Powered Armor” if you insist on referring to it as that, what does adding air vents change about it besides making it uglier and stupider?

I don’t find the media image too bad, looks a little bulky in the forearms (in contrast to the hands) but I seem to recall H-L2’s suit having this effect as well. Could do with some better texturing, but I suspect this is a placeholder model.

And whoa, damn that sneaky not taking you to the most recent page thingy. Must be a slow day in the ol’ forums.

Make it breath better so the wearer doesn’t die of heat exhaustion/dehydration.

Makes it go faster.

Duh.

That would be racing stripes :3
