The original helmet looked like a hazmat hood. That one looks like a more delicious Master Chief helmet. Which, I guess, isn’t really a bad thing…

EDIT: Upon a second look, that actually is a pretty good upgrade from the original. It has the same general style, but looks more protective, which makes a lot more sense. I mean, why have the body so fully protected in metal armor if your head is just wrapped in plastic? The new one gives a better sense of full-body protection.

I absolutely love the model. However that can’t at all be comfortable, considering how snug it is around the cheeks.

I prefer the original hazmat style breathing mask as opposed to this paintball/dirt bike helmet he has on. I’m also more partial to the ballistic fabric that looks somewhat cushiony seen in Half-Life 2 but I do enjoy the the corrugated PVC that you put here that looks more like the original HEV.

As for the colors. In the original HL multiplayer, you can choose the color. Is this possible here? If not, is there a more orange version of this?

I think the BM version is awesome. It looks like it is designed to protect you while still having the same functions of a hazmat suit.
