Help us make an awesome wiki!

No Xen before release or download. Xen only when playing.

As such, when Black Mesa comes out, I will be leaving the forums for a while so I don’t see spoiler screenshots which will inevitably be posted here and on the Wiki.

Sorry, folks. I know how much my company means to y’all.

I can say the same.

As for the spam on userpages, We are keeping up with mostly until some adtional measures are added. Until then you can always filter the list if you are looking for changes

I have disabled new account creation, for the time being.

I agree

Maybe it’s time to update the timeline with dat release date?

Don’t worry, it’s being taken care of.

I happened to notice that on the Wiki the BM Logo at the top is missing. Might be just me but thought it was worth mentioning.

Edit: oh, and also the Community forums picture link at the bottom is incorrect and gives me an error message.

Thanks:3

Fixed. Please try again.

Yep, works fine now.

Is there a plan to update the wiki, or will it simply be a free-for-all once the mod is out?

Do we want to semi-allocate sections to avoid people working against each other…

Although I might just enjoy the game for the first few days :stuck_out_tongue: Then wiki editing it is.

The wiki is going to undergo some changes soon. However it will remain open for everyone. If pages or topics become troublesome we already have tools in place to deal with them. Also increased security and a few slightly tighter restrictions should help with the spam issue we were facing.

Edit: Also a more more comprehensive community portal on the wiki should/will be created in hopes of guiding new editors and for putting forward styles and guidelines for the addition of all of the new content.

Awesome…never been good at modding, so nice to be able to contribute something to this awesome project.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
