Thanks! I’m so apologetic cause I’m still a bit traumatized since my last rejected tentative of creating characters thumbnails. LOL
Now I’ll be more determined in my edits.

Nice idea. We could use the Community Portal page, cause the page seems to be abandoned, and the links there are already in the main page.
I also created the “Management” section in the main page with few links. Other links related to wiki administration or community suggestions/requests can be added there too, for example that general talk page.

Cool I have replaced The community portal with a new page where editors can post stuff.
Also made a BM wiki logo. Might not be official but It can be used to differentiate Items that are wiki specific.

It’s a play on the meda wiki logo / [[]] is the wiki code for embedding/linking

If I remember correctly that image was rejected from the wiki because the original didn’t have glasses. A member of the community superimposed the glasses on the original.

thats a little silly though isnt it? I mean Gordon does wear glasses, so why not have the picture of him with his glasses.

Almost that. In the first time, Klow replaced the version without glasses (concept made by the devs for the remake of HEV) with the original illustration with glasses (by Valve, containing the HEV design from HL1). I reverted the action, cause that image doesn’t reflect the BM’s HEV. You can see it in the file history.

I think there is no problem to put your image of Gordon with glasses there, cause your version is only the superposition of the head, and not the entire body. The important thing here is to keep the little redesign efforts that the devs show here.

EDIT: To replace the old image with yours, log in to the wiki, go to the Gordon image page and click in “upload a new version of this file”. Choose the image in your HD and voilà.

I nearly had a heart attack…seriously guys, look how much detail is in this shot. The power lines are being blown around, the rocks in the distance, the props to the left, the shotgun, foliage, lighting, etc. It reminds me highway 17 but 1000x better and awesome. This is why I will wait as long as it takes :slight_smile:
