The Wiki Frontpage looks the same to me…
Thank you very much.
OIC. new borders and logo. I am indifferent persoanlly.
New frontpage is awesome, looks a lot sleeker than the last one.
I tried to get to th BM wiki with my iPod and it always redirects me to Wikipedia
now that is weird. I just tested it on a mobile safari simulator and it redirected me as well.
Strange…
HHHHHUUUUUBBBBBIIIIII!!!
Hmmm… I used to be able to access it on my iPod.
I always loose track of where this thread is. Am I the only one that thinks this should either go in the news section or the community projects section?
To say the truth I would like to see this thread in a subforum dedicated specially to the Wiki…
(But at the moment I’ll keep that suggestion in my pocket, for when the game is released and the wiki will probably grow on an astounding pace, needing that kind of subforum here).
Community Projects suits better than News.
I’m very impressed with the Wiki! Anything I’m unsure about, or missed might just well be in there. Also, it’s a cool way of adding new media too.
It also took me a little while to find it. I usually just access it through the home page under the section where it shows recent posts though. I’d say it belongs in community projects.
On a different note, I made new thumbnails for the Headcrab and the Barnacle and uploaded them to the wiki. Those were the only two thumbnails that I thought didn’t match well with the others (due to lack of proper editing and detail). As with anything on the wiki, feel free to revert back to the old ones if you don’t like them. although I hope you do like them
Edit: Also replaced the “Inbound” Thumbnail. I thought the previous one showed a little too much of the tram and not enough of the environment the player will be viewing from within the tram.
I am using google chrome and have noticed that when I access the picture pages, the picture is overbig and partially hidden under frames.
Is there anyway to accomodate this?
I don’t think that’s a browser issue, I think that happens when the user hasn’t changed some setting in their wiki profile when they upload a picture.
so then it isnt my fault? wow… (noting the anomaly in the calendar)
No, I get it too, and I’m using Firefox.
New media to me:
@catz
It’s due to the fact we have a fixed width wiki layout. (makes styling much simpler)
Well that’s new, haven’t seen that before. Except they’re using the old MP5 model. Still awesome though!
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
