Help us make an awesome wiki!

I updated my post on page 58. I worked hard on it so make sure you all LUUK at it!

How could we miss it :stuck_out_tongue:
Anyway that’s a huge and needed work you’ve done, bravo

No problem, glad I could be of help. I might find some time this weekend to continue info gathering in the got a question thread.

You forgot the latest forum crash.

Thanks a bunch cats! I’ll be able to start organizing everything now.

I couldnt for the life of me remember when exactly that was. Anyone? Anyone? Where are those siggy bars indicating the forum crashes when you need it! Havent we had like 4 of them?

Kewl beans!

If Im not mistaken May 2nd. As ypu can probably guess by ur sing up date.

Added this part to post number 1160

April 1st, 2009: Not everyone is fooled by the YouTube update indicating Gordon will now have a voice in game. Again, not everyone was fooled.

May 2nd, 2009: The Black Mesa site goes down as their servers suffered a massive hard drive failure that wiped their active and backup drives.

Catz you do realise you could just’ve put that onto the wiki yourself, right? It’s not much different to editing a forum post.

Take the plunge! Learn the wiki! You can do it!

I think it accured the 1st may since I’ve re-registered the 2nd.

^Should be made into a call-to-action poster for the wiki… :3

I love how much work you’ve put into that Catz - I hope though that you didn’t spend too much time looking up stuff I / carlos added to the History of the Mod page on the wiki…

In fact some of the stuff you’ve found could do to be added :stuck_out_tongue:hint hint

Catz, I was hesitant to learn how to do wiki stuff when I first started modding, but it’s really not that hard. Hell, the way I used to do it was harder than normal text.

Links are just a bit harder, and if the spelling is correct, internal links shouldn’t be a problem.
If all else fails, transplant code that works from another page that does something similar, and edit the text and file directories.

Forums crashed on May 1st, my birthday. :frowning:

Yes, it was May 1st, but the forums came back online on the 2nd.

No, but the snark hive should be.

I quiver and quake in fear. Ok guiz… here I go. Wish me luck! I haven’t been this scared since I first coded my website!

:nervous giggle:

Again, you’ll be fine.

Don’t worry, you’ll be fine :3
Thank god there’s an undo button.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
