Help us make an awesome wiki!

im defenitly going to restrain myself from going to the wiki and spoil everything.
to the devs, DONT EVEN RELEASE XEN MEDIA. force the player to go throught the game if he wants to see it

It’s not the developers that you’ll have to worry about.

Or open the console and type “map” then scroll down the list 'till you see the ones labeled “Xen”.

That and the fact that you get teleported there early in the game :stuck_out_tongue:

A 5-minute gameplay video of any given chapter would be nice.
But the problem about that is… it would be nice.
BM’s devs are too busy being awesome and working on the mod to be nice… right guys?

oh and with the internet being this whole great-big crazy mess of informative information that informs… If you don’t want Xen spoiled then resist the temptation to look at images… infact… when the mod is released you should probably avoid the bm forums which will explode with a wave of newcomers having their HL-gasms all over the boards posting screenies and going “hau allsum rite gaiz?”… till you get up to there yourself =)

My current mental picture of the BM Xen is a highly unlikely level structure reminiscent of those vertical mazes in Super Mario Smash Bros.

About Raw-bean´s suggestion of creating a summary of developers’ posts in the Forum,
what about a modification in the “Developer Interviews & Press” part of the Wiki?

By changing, for example, the above name to “Developer Interviews, Press & Forum Trivia (comments, information or updates?)”

So that, in each year, the developer comments are presented with a list of titles referring to the link of the respective relevant post.

https://forums.blackmesasource.com/showthread.php?t=898&page=90

Which gives me an idea… since the forums will be flooded with noobs upon release of the mod, it might be a good idea to at least create a new subforum, that is only accessible to members who have been registered since before release (with a special usergroup, or something), so long-time members can have some peace and quiet.

I support this idea.

I totally loosened the lid on that jar of awesomeidea you just opened.

Then I came into the jar.

:hmph:

I’m a newfag and I take everything you say with at least 3 wheelbarrows of salt.

General rule of thumb, take everything Ram says as a lie until proven otherwise :expressionless:

Just like that sentence.

so that sentence in addition to the customary salt…whenever Ram says something… take a salt lake, test drive some vehicles on it. Then eat some deep fried seafood. well seasoned.

Theres not enough salt on this planet to compensate for even half of your statements.

That should compensate.

:fffuuu:

And i think that a section in the wiki with the devs posts is a great idea…

:retard:

great “back on topic” save!

hm…

…IDEA! We can call it the “Dev Sez” page and it has a small picCOLOR=‘DimGray’ of the developer, blurb of what they said, and a time stamp of when. Make it kinda look like iChat but not lame looking.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
