Help us make an awesome wiki!

little more css hacking and I think I got it all figured out.

-footer is fixed
-columns work properly in Chrome

Thanks for that, lets be friends.

:s noopydance: all is now well with the world.

uhm… Not exactly. Now it looks strange for me, in Firefox:

Cman2k, could you bring back the footer informations about the last time the page was modified and how many times it was accessed, please? They are valuable things to keep track.

Thanks for the support!

did you refresh the page? I assume you did, but…

I did. The main page looks ok, but the others don’t.

I dunno what you did to yours but it looks fine here. Also using Firefox. The footer’s a bit off though.

Non-cached reload fixed it for me (ctrl+f5)

ah yesssss. the control button is a tricky fella he is, yet he made all the difference eh?

:expressionless:

You won’t believe me, but it is true: To make a test I installed a brand new Chrome, and the first page I openned was the BM wiki. The result was…

The same problem. I cleared the cache, tried ctrl+f5 in FF and Chrome, tried login/logoff the wiki, changed some preferences there and etc. Nothing works.

Maybe the wiki now is optimized for widescreen monitors - mine is 19" not wide - but it is just a random guess… Anyway, never mind. I’ll try to figure it out by myself. And in the meantime I’ll continue having my fun editing the articles!

I’m going to join in editing this. :]

Tested it in 4:3 resolutions. Only began running into trouble at resolutions below 1024x768. And that was just a slight misalignment of the background image.

Conti was right. I believe I have fixed the issue with the other pages…so they should all be working now.

Thanks! Now the pages are ok.

I’ve been getting this problem in Opera since it was first released.

(The top menu bar of the wiki is aligned to the right)

It’s supposed to be like that, on all the browsers.

Since it’s wiki-specific I felt it should stand out, not blend in with the regular site navigation.

…Are you saying it shouldn’t break the boundaries of the center column? that might look a little better. But I still wouldn’t want it to be left-aligned or centered or anything.

I could help you do that, if you want.

Yeah. Keep it in the column, right aligned. On higher resolutions it looks fine, but most people don’t run in a high enough resoultion (I use 1920x1080 - Looks fine)

So, what about other languages for BMWiki?

i’m in sounds fun
