I want a core i7 CPU, a DX11 GPU, and 16 inches or less notebook.
Any ideas?
Best option in my mind is an ENVY 15, but it has plenty of cons. Find me a better option.
Budget? $2500 or less please. I’d like to spend around $2000.

Nowdays you can find those specs for around 700 bucks if you take the time to google websites and look for the best deal.
$700? Lets see you prove it.
Actually for 700 bucks you can pay someone to steal a laptop with those specs.
You find me that magical laptop and I will sacrifice a goat and two heads of cattle in your honor.
Core i5 is a better choice for laptops than core i7, with that in mind you can start with the cheapest core i5 laptop and add a dx11 GPU and the OP’s requirements are met. Obviously that means getting only 4gb of ram and a small HDD, but those can be upgraded later (in my case stolen parts would be used, but you still save money if you buy them later)
?? Why would core i5 ever be better.
Remember people I have money to spend. I WANT to spend $2000. I was given a gift of up to $2000 to buy a laptop and only to buy a laptop. If I dont spend it all, I can’t keep it.
I got an i7 laptop off newegg, sony brand with 4gb of ram, 500gb hdd, and a 330m (1gb) video. All for ~1300, runs like a champ!
If you want the best quality go with Asus or maybe a high-end Acer, but only the expensive ones, the affordable ones suck, personally I still prefer thinkpads, but I don’t have money for a new laptop, obviously since my primary laptop is an EEE pc.
Why don’t you just get a supremely awesome desktop computer, and buy a netbook or something with the left over cash?
^This for sure.
You can build a pretty kick ass desktop for 1.5k and .5k will buy you a very functional laptop.
A laptop with those specs and that size is likely going to be heavy and loud and isn’t practical for portability, the whole point of a laptop.
I did a gaming laptop once and I regretted it severely, it might as well have been a desktop and I could have purchased something twice as good for the same price I paid.
Unless of course you already have an awesome desktop.
DX11 is going to be a sticking point. Most laptops have the video chipset as part of the main board. The few that have an upgradeable video card are very expensive, and there are few upgrade options. Also, the screen size could be a problem. Most manufacturers assume that, if you want a good video card, you want to play games and watch video, so you want a larger screen. As an example, current Alienware laptops are all 17" screens.
I also recommend the Asus G73JH. It currently has the most powerful mobile GPU on the market.
Thanks you too. Unfortunately its just too stinking huge to carry around with me.
This is probably my best bet if I went with Asus. Other sites you can custmoize to get more RAM and such.

QUESTION
Are you actually going to be walking around as you play two instances of Crysis, or is this something that will sit at home? If it’s the latter, go for a desktop, not a laptop. Gaming laptops do exist, but are prone to overheating and don’t get as great performance, plus are ultra-expensive and difficult to upgrade. Chances are you can find everything you need in a desktop, even if it’s I7 and the best GPU on the market, for around or under $1000.
If it’s the former, watch where you’re going. You don’t want to walk into a brick wall while carrying that $2500 laptop.
I’ll be walking around with it daily.
Here’s what I’ll likely purchase:

Of course I’ll bump up the HDD and such.
Thanks! I will buy a Sager!
Never mind warranty fails. So I’ll stick with CyberPowerPC.
