Help, banned from Black Mesa Steam Chat for unknown reason.

I just wanted to make a plea to be unbanned from the Black Mesa Steam Chat. It was probably somewhere around a year or a half year ago. I don’t know why I was banned, but I am, and I thought that if I asked, the moderators of the chat/developers would forgive me.

I’m sure you were banned for some good reason.

Maybe you were too annoying and kept asking one of the devs there too many questions.

Maybe. But I’d like to at least ask for forgiveness, rather than never bring it up.

inb4 nobody likes you

I never even knew there was a Chat.

Fuck I’m so sociable.

I’m was blocked from the chat, too. But I’m admittedly a total asshole.

Maybe they just don’t like Dragons or any semblance thereof.

so i herd u dont like skyrim

Quit lolly gagging

I used to like Skyrim but then the arrow to the knee joke happened…

HaaAHHaaHaHaHaHaH,

Remember when that Joke was funny?

…No?

Neither Do I.

I used to like Skyrim, but then my save games got corrupted by too many mods.

So are we just shitting in this thread?

When people make “arrow to the knee” jokes it seems to imply that.

Yeah IDK, it used to have a purpose, but in dispelling the extreme un-usefulness of the posts people have made, I joined in. I’m mostly trying to keep this thread afloat on the front page so some developer/moderator will at least respond.

I didn’t think people used the chat, half the time I see it it’s a deserted wasteland.

EDIT: What’d you like to be unbanned for anyways, nothing special happens in the chat room

Also, have you tried filling out a Client Support Report?

Many of the chat regulars are in Europe, so the times when you check may not be the times when there are people in there.

I should be careful in there then.

I usually lurk when I’m in there anyway, not paying attention. Some dev will ask me something, I won’t answer, and get banned :fffuuu:

I noticed I was banned when I heard there was a lot going on in the Steam Chat during the ValveTime Leak’s first hours. It’s not a huge deal, but I’d like to at least sort it out.

I don’t know what that is. But I can assume its contacting Valve Support about it. But I’d rather not try to mess with that.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
