- If the PC has a huge amount of games compared to any of the consoles of course would have more.
- A lot of those he said sounded more like stereotypes that he didn’t like, and less like actual crap.
- You would be surprised at what you can buy for $5 no the PC. It just comes down to knowing what you are looking for and doing a little research
Also, the difference between Wii shovelware and PC shovelware is that Wii shovelware is full priced and dominating the console. PC shovelware is only here and there and usually costs a lot less than a full game. I own a Wii, trust me the shovelware problem is much worse on it.
Wow he’s ignorant about the Computer stuff. I’m not sure how evolution is a bad thing. If you buy correctly, and don’t aim for games like Crysis, you can easily get numerous years out of a computer.

Basically his argument is that PCs are more expensive and complex because they are consoles and much more…um. Duh? But, perhaps he has a point. If you simply want to play video games and nothing else, it’s stupid to plunk down hundreds and hundreds of dollars maybe over a thousand to build an ultimate gaming rig if all you’re going to do is game and nothing else.
But to say that PCs suck BECAUSE they do much more than consoles is a bit silly. I don’t know of a single massively-marketed game for any console or PC that was programmed and designed from the ground up…on a gaming console.
But, if you want to only play games, then buy a console. I have no problem with consoles; I started with 'em for cripe’s sake…beginning with Pong, up through the Atari 2600, then the 5200, then the 7800, ColecoVision, Nintendo, Genesis, TurboGrafx-16, Super Nintendo, SegaCD, N64, Dreamcast, Playstation and Playstation 2…I have had my fair share of consoles and they’re good at what they do…but they don’t do everything.
For that, you need a computer.

Seriously though, I still have my old PS2 and I play that a bit. The main reason I use my PC is because it’s more flexible. More games, modding ability, a heck of a lot more in game options than a console and the old mouse/keyboard combination is a lot easier than a controller.
I’m not a graphicfag, so I don’t worry too much about how a game looks so long as it runs well, and I don’t spend hundreds of dollars on new equipment just to play latest games. I’d rather wait a few years than waste that much money. Graphicfags are quite imaptient IMO.

I play pc and consoles. I got my Wii, my PC, my 360, and I would have a PS3 but I cant be assed to scrape up the money to buy one.

I don’t really care. Let the console-people play their consoles. Everyone have their own things they like. And if somebody says something bad about something else I don’t care. I like pc more because it has more things and consoles are okay too especially when I played Gears of War 2 Horde Mode with my little nephew. It was really fun. Console is simply for the more casual and/or retarded gamers. If you are a very very serious gamer, you get a pc, if you just want to play something and don’t care about replay, customization etc. you get a console. Pc has the ultimate amount of customization and options, but has a higher price, and a higher minimum IQ requirement. They should include that on games and gaming systems.
