It’ll take a more specialized room than a security checkpoint, something with a suit container, but it can be done with a player_weaponstrip set up properly.
It’ll see if I can figure out how such a room should be set up after I get some more of the map done, unless somebody else wants to handle it.

I’m no expert but it sounds fun, so perhaps I could try… They would probably suck, though, I’ll have you know! What crate texture would be the base? I’d need to know the size :stuck_out_tongue: Unless somebody already did this, of course.

Ideally, it would be a decal for the glass windows in the shooting range.

It would be cool if you guys create missing Surface tension map with bunch of marines and aliens fights.

Got a ton of stuff done. I’m finished for today.

Finished the entity work for the weapon deposit checkpoint, and got some temporary choreography in. The dialog will likely have to be changed at some point, though. Also, the room itself is still very WIP.

If you want to test it out, check out revision_006 with a cordon compile, (no ceiling, sorry) and be sure to rebuild scenes.image in faceposer so the new scene runs. (again, sorry.)

I won’t be updating for a few days due to schoolwork and college apps. If anyone wants to do texture/lighting/detail/whatever passes on any of my current maps, feel free. Just notify me before doing so.

I’ve been doing other stuff (as in not Hazard Course) the past few days. I should probably get back to that in a bit. I’ll probably do some brainstorming in a little bit.

Yeah, I have the same thing going on here. I’ll still try to pop into Hammer when I have some spare time, but I haven’t made enough major changes yet to be worth dropboxing a new revision.

I’ve been trying to give it a shot, but all my attempts are awful. I found a font that looks great here, in case anyone more experienced wants to try!

What we really would need are prop modelers who have usable things to show, and choreographers. This wouldn’t get done otherwise. We have enough mappers, tbh. :expressionless:
