Not exactly. Not every trainee acts like Freeman.
Hologram face texture used in the HL1 Hazard Course.
HL: Decay face texture.
Who knows, in the original it was just a hologram looking straight. No idea what the team will do though, since they don’t got a choreographer yet.
:3
She looks really good.
eyebrows arch too high in my humble opinion.
some peoples eyebrows do that. i wish i could achieve that look
When we have it installed, is Hazard Course gonna be accessible by selecting the “Training Room” option from the difficulty level toggling menu, like it was in Half-Life 1?
As of now, its currently like the original. It might change though.
By the original, we mean the original WON version, where it was an option on the main menu, rather than in the New Game > Choose Difficulty menu, like Steam HL has.
Should the title not change from “community project” to “Hazard Course remake”.
I mean there is litterally no constructive critism. The only thing that gets posted here is “nice, looks great”.
just pointing that out, now yall can go back to what you were doing
It’s not like we WON’T accept community feedback though… because we will. We’ve already incorporated a few suggestions from the community.
But anyway, changing the title would probably be more of a hassle than anything.
I know we do that, but theres just not enough. Most idea’s come from the team itself.
i don’t see how that warrants a thread title change
Yeah, especially since everyone on the team is part of the community.
I think there would be a lot more constructive criticism if some of the community gets a chance to play the alpha version of the Hazard Course remake.
Thats true, and I believe most people on the forum will do.Then theres the ModDB community, where most people just want to get their hands on our content and wont leave constructive critism (or even critism/feedback at all), and complain about things when its fully released. Its pretty noticable that most people want to get their hands on the content, since there are more alpha tester applications than development applications.
Well it’s difficult to give feedback on something we hardly see
It’s funny that you say that. The Hazard Course is only maybe 10 minutes long at most right now. There isn’t a whole lot to show. Besides, you don’t need to know what’s in the course to make suggestions on what you’d LIKE to see in the course… it’s not like we’re designing the whole concept and layout from scratch or anything.
And we already release new media almost every week. We do much more than that, you’ll be able to play Hazard Course: Slideshow Edition. [COLOR=‘Black’][Props to Raminator for the joke.]
Bump.
What happened to development? Is there any progress?
There is progress, but most of it is behind-the-scenes stuff that we can’t really show right now, stuff like entity setups.
We’ve also got some animations for Gina in the works, which will probably take a while to finish. But you can look forward to that once we get them done.
