Hazard Course Remake (AVAILABLE NOW!)

nothxbro
It helps a little bit that most of our testers took at least 20 minutes on their first playthroughs. But even so, let’s not roll with the big guys on this one.

We should include speedrun tracking support or something. Heh. :stuck_out_tongue:

Funny.

Care to embed that? I don’t usually enter the YouTube site out of principle anymore.

You can’t embed youtube videos here. :hmph:

Okay, let’s not get grumpy with each other. We’re here to discuss the mod.

which principle is that?

Probably the principle of avoiding websites that are full of morons?

Either way, this thread is about the Hazard Course, not about web browsing principles.

Anyone have any questions, comments, concerns, or cries of outrage about the HC?

not enough torusses > :frowning:

:rage:

Actually, I myself have a multitude of cries of outrage and outrageous crying, but there’s one I really wanna bring up: You guys haven’t released media in like, 2 years. What the hell gives?

Hazard Dev Team Gives

Again, we’ll have a more interesting update soon.

as somebody already said, i hope the wait is worth for how short this will probably be

Depends on whether waiting is actually worth anything to you, I mean it’s only anticipation and your time not being used.

I guess just use the screenshots to try and get a rough gauging of it?

looks like it’ll fit in to the rest of BM perfectly

Agreed

God I’m so impatient about this project  How many percent are we to the final product ?

Roughly X.
We don’t give percentages because they’re highly inaccurate as to how much time it’ll take to finish. All we can really say is that we’re on schedule for internal builds.

It’s like trying to measure Valve time. Just don’t try or the universe might break.

Yup, we can’t really give an accurate guess. And even if we could, you guys would assume it only increases over time which is entirely incorrect.

Percentages only really work when you know exactly what needs to be done, what’s finished, how complete the unfinished stuff is and how large 'a role all of them play in the complete project. We had no idea we needed as many, say, railing models, for instance. Or elevators. As we progress, we realize more things need doing, or redoing, or are not worth doing, or what have you, so ultimately any guesses are basically worthless by the time the week’s up. Mod development, woo!

Just keep poking at it and you will get there eventually. Mod development woo!

Also, final Alpha phase (Alpha 3) has begun. Submit testing applications to bm.hazardcourse@gmail.com for consideration.

Looks pretty darn good. The only complaint I can voice is that the first picture seems a bit empty (needs moar props), but I’m sure you’ll figure that out.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
