It wouldn’t have mattered anyway. I was out at the time.
Your have free time during the wrong times.

THIS PAGE NEEDS TO BE FUCKING KILLED
But… but… you are the only post on this page. Oh wait!:fffuuu:
Not anymore Catz
:3
… And so, Catz swoops in to enlighten the thread, only to realize the futility of it all. :3
and get shit done
Fuck that, that’s never helped anyone.
New edit of the environmental hazard section is up.
Still doing it one room at a time, but it’s getting there. I like the airlock so far, what do you guys think?
I love the brushwork and detailing. It’s much more awesome than anything I could have come up with. Hell, if you’re up for it, I think it would do the whole project a service if you were to detail more of the course as well.
I think some of the lighting could use some tweaking, and again, the color palette could be a bit more varied (most of the textures are a bright gray) but for a first version of an edit, it’s really nice. The airlock in particular is awesome.
EDIT: Box and everyone else who hasn’t filled it out, what’s your Skype info? We’ll be moving to Skype since Steam doesn’t like sending invites for some reason.
We were actually unable to even send you the invite, and I’m not exactly sure why that is.
We’re also moving from Source to Frostbite and we have to trade continents.
Thanks. It appears I’m better at detailing other people’s stuff than making my own, lol.
Or maybe it’s just the orange mapping. Never did get into the habit of doing that. :retard:
Yeah, I know, I know. There’s not really much in the way of non-gray concrete textures in BM’s set, and no other materials really fit. We need some painted or brown crete to even the palette out.
My skype info is “”.
Yeah… sorry about that.
Frostbite? I get enough frostbite as it is! I’m out. See you later.
You could make one and just try loading the conversations to get up to speed on things, since Skype conveniently has a history feature.
Hazard Course Source: Coming to Mars in 2531
EDIT: Newest version of hc_basicmovement_02 is up. To save time, the BSP is cordon-enabled and compiled for HDR only, so beware.
Anyone think there’s too much blood on the floor?
Ha, you silly Canadians.
Make an account! Even if you can’t attend or be online at all hours of the day we’d at least be able to add you to the group conference and you can read up on what you might miss. The history on group chats goes back a whole year, so it’s pretty much impossible to miss something.
Fair enough. I should get skype at some point anyway.
Just need to download the client…
Also, would everybody be okay with me posting some shots of the hazard section? I was thinking about showing off the airlock.
I think it would be best to show off areas that are comparable to the original, as we’ve been doing.
The airlock would be difficult to compare to anything, since it wasn’t in the original.
