We can guarantee that we’ll do our best to fix any and all bugs encountered.
Will we succeed? We will, yes indeed. 98 and three quarters percent guaranteed!
With numbers like that, there’s no way anything could fail!
Should be able to commence Alpha testing now. I’ll update ModDB once we get a consensus on which pictures should make the cut.
Heads up for you possible testers: To make everyone’s lives easier we’d like to communicate via Skype as much as possible. We’ll have a chatroom for the testers (and a few of us devs) set up so we can speak with each other. Mic not necessary.
Hazard Course: Seuss Edition confirmed
:retard:
Called it.
Oh the thinks you can think!
Oh the thinks you can think!
If you’re willing, of course.
Think a Sci doing math,
Or a Garg with such wrath,
Or the great HAZARD COURSE!
:retard:
Lots of truth is said in Jest.
Maybe not before the test,
but at the time of this writing
it’s being authored by TehKing.
Well good try at least. :3
I warned you. :retard:
Is it possible to have an open beta test when it reaches beta stage?
It’s possible, but we’re not gonna be doing that. We’ll gradually be accepting more testers as we go. We feel this will be plenty for testing purposes. We’re more likely to get lots of good, usable feedback from small groups of testers that we can communicate directly and in depth with.
Maybe you can add more scientists in the background during the jump rooms because it seems only two scientists are in that lonely room. It can give an idea that some scientists are not watching you while you jump. The scientists could be talking to each other or working with their computer while others watch you.
Also are the numbers 1 2 3 in the jump rooms still planned or removed already as it doesn’t give too much purpose?
We haven’t figured out the precise arrangement of scientists yet. No picture is final. I will tell you that we have some interesting things planned for the scientists though.
The numbers will be there eventually. I just have better things to do right now than to worry about that.
There’s no point in an open beta. This isn’t a multiplayer game. It’s a training level that likely won’t take you more than maybe 10 minutes to complete.
We’ll definitely do a closed beta though.
5 months for 10 minutes. Freakin’ video games, man.
Totally worth it.
Skype? Oh the joy of Steam and chat, combined with Teamspeak and speech…
We haz our reasons.
I’ve followed this mod (of a mod) since it started, I definitely wouldn’t mind being a tester.
I have a fair amount of knowledge in Hammer, and have had previous experience in testing a mod. (it was/is Synergy)
