It’s an alpha; I expect they’ll be focusing more on server connectivity and core gameplay than social functions.
I played an hour or so of it today, finally, since there was actually room on a server for once. HOLY HELL is this game fun. I cannot wait for the beta.

Reviving here, I was playing the last closed abeta a hell of a lot, really seems to have fixed a lot of things. Still reported a few bugs though. Anyone else still playing?

Seems like a little in the last phase, yeah. But it might be down to my new drivers.
Why did they take out advanced graphical options?
If anyone’s still interested, they just released the special camos for alpha and beta testers. I think they sent them out via email. (And possibly also some emails with codes for a significant amount of in-game money, so check for those.)
