Hawken!

oh haha, as if I’m not a VIP…

…I think I actually have a second alpha key or something, because I just received a duplicate of the first email. That’s odd.

Hey, what handles are you guys using in Hawken? We should post them here so we can find each other on the forums and even in-game. Maybe we could make a Black Mesa Hawken clan!

I’m going by {SF}kenny. (More or less consistent with my Steam handle)

Mine is just plain “Pyrophile”, an extended version of my username for when Pyro is invariably taken.

Mine is Zona

I tried for about 20 minutes to get into a game and it wasn’t letting me. Disappointing.

…I’m in.

You guys are lucky. I still haven’t got any keys…

Well it didn’t help that some players got upgrade points from the get go and some didn’t. Those that got em (not me) were able to loadout their mechs of choice with better weapons and such right away. While the rest of us had to make do.

shrugs

Oh well, still having fun playing it.

And for those that got two emails with separate keys. That’s because they had an issue with a batch of the original keys not working so they emails most everyone a second key in case they had issues with the first.

So I’ve downloaded the game, but the launcher’s been at “applying patch” for about half an hour now. Is this normal?

I downloaded last night.

EDIT: Alpha 2 has a strict NDA. I propose we start a thread in the Alpha 2 forums.

A thread just for these forums on the other forums? That works.

I’m too lazy to go to other forums :frowning:

same :frowning: (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((CCCCCCCCCCCC

plus I don’t want Hawken guys mixing with us. s’awkward.

The obvious solution is to make this forum only visible to members, and then ban everyone who doesn’t have a Hawken alpha key.

Everyone’s getting keys except me… :frowning:

Apparently you can get alpha access for a limited time with the promo code “AlphaDog”. Hurry and try it if you want in.

That worked! Thanks!

Awesome! Glad I can help.

So did a mod make this a “Alpha 2 Only” thread yet?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
