Has the BM website been slow lately?

Here are some stats from March so far (Up to the 21st)

Forums:

Main Site:

the homepage gets an average 1 million hits per day :expressionless: jesus!!

Nothing is slow compared to the release of BM and/or any halflife related material.

Nice… Can you view all-time stats?

That’s what I was wanting to see haha.

How about my sites (referral) stats…

bigggg downtime moments ago

huh, this thread is still alive and kicking.

It takes a whole second to load a page. :hmph:

I still get these random 1 minute blackouts, every other site keeps working fine, must be my shitty ISP.

i get that once a month, i too think it’s on the ISP end.

I’ve not been getting those at all.

This thread is broken.

Yes, I can rarely view it

Then how did you post that

I came in here by clicking the page link instead of the last post thingy.
Let me rephrase: the link to the last post is broken. Or was broken.

EXTREME issues tonight… 404’s, 500’s (whatever those are), extreme slow downs, and a slew of other problems. Ran a test, it’s the site not my internet (all other sites work fine).

EDITZORZS:

Ya, I was getting these for a while too.

Hmm, that’s very weird. Unless Hubi or someone else was working on the forums then I’m not quite sure what would cause that.

Edit: Oh ya, server backups start around 1AM US Eastern, chances are that when it was starting it started to use a lot of CPU (which is only natural considering its compressing a bunch of sites). The backups are about halfway done and usually finish around 10 or 11AM, if anyone is still having issues after noon or so let me know.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
