In my map the lighting is fine, but once I try use use dynamic lighting like a flashlight, there are dark spots where the flashlight hits the wall.

It won’t.
How many cuts have you made into your geometry? Too many cuts means too many surfaces, and the dynamic lighting goes wonky. If you’ve got too many, try making them func_detail’s, it may help.
