Images taken straight from google image search, low resolution and the banner based on a fan made logo and title - this isn’t going so well if this was an attempt to mimic Valve.
Its likely (at most) sort of a user created mod. If it is, it does look interesting, but at least they could have used different image. I recently created image of an Aperture lore, it’s not for public but even then I didn’t copy image straight from google.
I’ve kept an eye on this thing from time to time, but haven’t followed it closely.
The writing seems pretty elaborate and consistent with HL/Portal canon/lore. There have been some simple ciphers and interaction with the r/GameDetectives community, but so far, to me, this feels more like a fanfic, albeit a kind of interactive one, than an ARG.
A recent tweet was signed “lm”. A nod to Marc Laidlaw and what he did with the @BreenGrub thing a while back?
