Half life Source Odd issue

This issue appears to be with scripting you know in the chapter “We’ve got hostiles” Where the soldier is supposed to kill the scientist who says thank god your here and kills him.

Well that doesnt happen instead he runs past the scientist goes up the stairs and starts shooting me ive tried everything redownloading the game all that nothing fixes it

Please help I’ve also tried using defragging gcf nothing works this occurs when the scientist is supposed to open the door to get to the freezer he doesnt open the door until I go to the HEV recharger

For the first incident, the marine does notice you before the scientist sometimes. Therefore, that is not an error. You’re just not being stealthy enough.

For the second one, I dunno, really. Either you haven’t killed all the enemies, or that really is a problem.

On the topic of Half-Life issues, is it just me, or does the WGH-skipping glitch not work anymore? :frowning:

Half-Life Source may not be what people want it to be (a HL1 remake on the Source engine), but I still prefer it over the GoldSrc version. At least it has a few nice effects (water, skyboxes) and you no longer have the annoying elevator bug.
