There are some stupid parts like “the freeman part” but overall very impressive. I don’t understand how the man was able to move on without combine soldier suit after the surgery.

He hadn’t had the suit on to begin with, only the surgery had taken place so far.

I thought it was pretty could. There seem to be a lot of these popping up recently, people are trying to get their their HL fix after waiting so long or Episode 3 they just make a short film.

If you’re referring to the stripped soldier in Nova Prospekt, there’s really no way of knowing if that was before or after surgery was complete.

He has visible implants and several tubes coming out of his torso. I think the surgery was complete. If it wasn’t, I guess the surgeons took their mid-surgery coffee break.

It was probably a bunch of robotic arms and shit.

Maybe the guy laying there was recovering from surgery?

I didn’t even bother to watch the full video. I was far too bored of it after 4 minutes.

I’m only guessing that it’s incomplete based off of the unreliable propaganda graffiti.

This makes me think of how awesome a HL movie would be if it were done right. This short film is pretty good in the action scenes. Some parts are a little corny, but it was enjoyable, a lot more than Beyond Black Mesa actually.

Edit Also on the part with Freeman, while I admit it was corny as well, I actually thought that was really epic. Would’ve indeed been more epic had they an actual guy dress as him walking closer in that same manner, but I think that might’ve been my favorite part.
