What do you think? A perfect 10?
That was actually pretty cool.
The microwave scene made me laugh.
It was interesting and humorous in parts (loved the Cave Johnson visitor badge!) but my biggest complaint is something that rather surprised me:
I didn’t like how “Half-Lifey” it looked. It looked like they just took graphics from the actual game and just green-screened the characters onto them…especially visible when Gordon is looking closely at the closed-circuit camera before hitting it with the crowbar… Some things in the video looked very awesome…other things…not so much. The “Half-Lifey” things looked out of place… and this is coming from someone that would want a movie of Half-Life to be as close to the source material as possible.
I still liked it, though.
That was pretty epic.
Wow, that was pretty good.
LOL! It took Barney one push of a button to open the door, talk about high level security
Spoilt by all the modern, gritty remakes of things!
That is actually what they did.
Still don’t like it! stamps feet
(Okay, it’s a nitpicky thing, I admit. Just some of the other visuals was remarkable but the green-screen effects, not so much, and it seemed out of place.)
If you put it that way, than it’s no different than every other typical HL2 fanfilm that uses all the game assets. [COLOR=‘Black’]If I do one, I’m doing it all from scratch. Models, textures, sounds, all of it.
When I get around to directing a Half-Life movie, it’ll make HL2 look like Aquaman.
I dunno. Something just felt off about the video. But, again, it’s really minor, nitpicky stuff.
I will say this.
That guy does a good Gordon impression.
I thought he actually looked like Gordon (from box art and such) instead of just having a goatee and glasses like so many other “look-alikes.”
Daz Kewlll
Especially considering that in the game, Barney’s fist didn’t even have to touch the keypad
? Gorden didn’t even have a voiceactor… [COLOR=‘Black’]herpthefuckingderp
congrats, you just understood the joke…
lol it’s gordIn, nub
