I’ve been around valve games since I was five with the first half life and remember waiting for half life 2 with baited breath hanging on every thread of information about it. So I know all too well about valve time and how valve will take no chances in releasing any information about upcoming games unless its been thoroughly rehearsed and the game is in a stage of production where they have something substantial to show but looking back on the lead up to half life 2 and comparing it to their recent productions there is a definate recognisable change in pace it seems in their production cycles. which leads me to believe that half life 3/episode 3 is almost definately at a showable stage even if it isn’t shown at the VGA’s and judgeing by the way they marketed portal 2 which is In the same ball park as the half life series I would’nt be surprised if this was a throw away but still thought out and semi calculated teaser designed to get communities buzzing leading up to some sort of announcement like the day we woke up and found strange radio messages planted around aperture and went crazy cept obviously on a bit more boring level than that. ofcourse this is all speculative and its just some chubby cunt in a t-shirt but hay buzz is always fun.
If their marketing strategy actually consists of one man wearing a T-shirt I either pity them, or I hate them because of it.
I don’t really care, because if my recent experiment with Portal 2 means anything, I won’t be able to run it.
:’(
Could’ve mislead someone
is your computer that old? My first playthrough of P2 was on an intel integrated graphics chip. It’s not hard to beat that.
Then it must be you.
If you computer can’t run a Source game then that’s a sign you need to upgrade.
I’m not saying their entire marketing budget for ep3/hl3 went into buying one guy a t-shirt and walking around a developers conference with it on clearly I’m just saying the fact that their developers are wearing the t-shirts would suggest that they are ready to begin showing a product if they have already begun making t-shirts for it. and allowing a photo of it to go online would suggest that they want to create buzz which is usually followed by announcements.
Does that honestly look like a T-shirt that Valve would produce? It’s one of the hundreds of HL3/Ep3 fan-made shirts that one of the devs found and wore as a joke.
I don’t know how people aren’t getting this…
Do you like this logo?
I’m not holding my breath.
Which color is it now? Wouldn’t be orange, would it?
Look around you. It’s working.
If it’s legit that is.
yer it could be it’s all speculatable but it was a valve developer wearing it ‘apparently’ and seeing how tight lipped valve have been about anything half-life it’s strange when asked for permission to take a photo of one of the developers in a half life 3/ep3 tee for twitter they said yes and strange they would even show up in it in the first place. God im getting sucked into clinging onto every half life detail around again but yer I also agree it does like really distasteful like glowing neon orange.
HL3 logo should be a lambda in a circle that has 3 lines
Now the dipshit website that made up the VGA rumors is pushing a fake screenshot of the Half-Life 3 achievements. I’m not going to link to it, lest I give those douchenozzles any more page hits, but trust me when I say it’s a crock.
That’s a terrible logo.
I think they were fake, they looked really bad and pretty generic to any FPS.
They made the G in their logo that shape because they knew years ago!
lmao
