This sure as hell isn’t Raising The Bar. It’s also on Amazon.
I want to know what there is to this book other than an incredibly shitty title, but I don’t want to buy the book. What should I do?

Wikipedia, Google it, there’s probably a pirated version of this somewhere on the internet, too.
That title looks like it was written by a 7-year-old, lol.
All the same, it’s very intriguing.
lol
You know what the bast part is?
I’m never going to read it.
Oh. I thought there was an actual action/thriller-novel out there.
I don’t normally read books, but I’d read that book if there was one.
But that book you’re refering to? Nah. I’ll just stick with the HL wiki.
Did a robot make that book? I mean, I’m probably the worst writer in the world but god damn, even I could whip up something better than copy-pasting online articles and wikipedia.
That’s what people do for money these days.
Selling stupid crap to dumb buyers.
Anyone gonna write a review of it?
Doesn’t look like it XD
How do people get crap like that published? About the only people who would be interested in Half Life have already played the game and know the scenario. Why would you want to read it?
The publisher is Books LLC.
Here’s what wiki says about Books, LLC.
Books LLC publishes print on demand paperback and downloadable compilations of English texts and documents from open knowledge sources such as Wikipedia. Books LLC’s copy of English Wikipedia is republished by Google Books. Titles are also published in French and German respectively under the names “Livres Groupe” and “Bücher Gruppe”. Books do include URLs of photos instead of the iconography of the original documents. According to the FAQ page: “We understand how annoying that can be for the reader. But our first priority has to be respecting copyright laws. In addition, the resolution of the online photos are not high enough to print in a book.”
Apparently, “books” like this are “written” automatically by a template of searches of the subject.

P.S. WOT has the Books LLC site red flagged!
Kind of tells you a lot doesn’t it?
So what? It’s copypasta from the combine overwiki?
Shouldn’t it be all kinds of illegal to profit from content generated by the public in the public domain?
That’s not legitimate. But, there are several novelizations of the Half Life series on Fanfiction.net, which I found to be enjoyable.
Stephen King’s: The Mist is what Half Life is primarily based off of, I believe.
There is a good film of that, too.
It’s about a portal storm that unleashes all kinds of huge and small aliens and a mist that they secrete coming into Earth. It’s a lot like Half Life prior to the 7-hours War.
You should all read this book
I’m a bookbinder and I know “print-on-demand” It’s mostly digital printing, with not so much manual labour involved. So those kind of publications should be rather cheap. I myself got a good deal printing 4-page cd inserts(1000 copies) in full resolution for less than 50€…granted I’m an employee and I get lower price, but still, any asshole can get stuff published for a small amount of money. Especially when that twat don’t have to pay for the sourcematerial.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
