Half Life 3

Half Life 3 will be da bomb.

OT: Meh, seems TOO good to be true.

Edit: Failpost, ignore it.

Damn… I can’t wait… I Hope they are really doing this.

Then brace for disappointment.

Eeep. Also aperture logo is neat.

You know if someone was this good at making a serious page that is almost as a good source as orange box he would be better at html.

And for the domain name - BLACK mesa - APERTURE science The domain is combined of this two names, which they could be both in the next game. I am also a little cautios but this could be a valve’s way of saying that they have something comming our way !

This would be way too obvious a tease from Valve and they don’t do obvious.

Well people now days aren’t as smart as they used to be, for today’s gamer you must tell him of a game, the games plot and storyline, weapons and ofcourse make at least 5 trailers with one live trailer and then he maybe will look forward to the game

Alternatively, wait til it’s done then put it on the Steam home page as a feature.

I think I’m safe in saying HL3 will be available on Steam.

I don’t like to jump to speculation about this kind of thing, best not to get your hopes up I’ve learned.

Now another thing could be for fincial reasons that they are making a test.

They put the webside, and now they are counting the people clicking the logo. If the number is high maybe they will start working on HL 3, if not …

You must think from their point of view…

That’s just silly, Valve knows damn well the gaming community at large is almost begging for a new HL game, they don’t need to do that kinda thing.

I’m sure a new HL game is on the works and Valve will announce or tease it when they think they’re ready to do it but I’m 99.9% sure that site is fake.

Well that is a finacial questions. Ask your self, your making a game that will at best have co-op so no multiplayer which means that a lot of people will just simple download it and pay nothing. Even if there are 10 milion people waiting for HL3, and 5 milion people just copy it, it’s not worth the risk of doing such a problem.

But then on the other hand, it is just a way of commercial, that let’s us fans keep arguing and trying to figure out what is happening.

Holy hell people can’t you wait until a actual teaser is shown off by valve to get excited rather than some guy just making a website or some shot like that a fake shows up one day and the next completely forgotten and moving to the next troll. :meh:

We are waiting for this game so long, that if somebody just writes HL3 anywhere we start trolling and investigating.

like example:

About that beer i owned ya …HL 3!!!

No just saying i owe you a beer, it cool if you don’t want it

I’ll take it, if he won’t.

But seriously, even if this is 100% fake (which is very likely), it was still a fun diversion…right? Heheh…right?

Mutters under his breath about trolls and their stupid websites

There is so much wrong in this post, I don’t even know where to begin.

5 million copies sold on the first few weeks of release would be a tremendous success for any game and HL3 would very easily reach that mark without effort. Lifetime sales would easily reach nearly 20 million copies.

Valve knows HL3 would sell like crazy, they don’t need to create sites to test that theory.

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

It’s not.

Because Valve have fallen on such hard financial times. Their gardening implements budget by itself is enormous; the teeth keep breaking off the rakes they use to manage their Steam profits.

Sites down is veering towards being it fake.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
