It only has HDR in certain levels. Try Highway 17. Why they chose to give some HDR and not the rest of them I’ve no idea.
What’s the console command to unlock all the chapters?
I don’t know if there is one, but entering “map d2_coast_01” should take you to Highway 17, if you haven’t got that far yet.

And yes, at least Black Mesa East and Highway 17 have HDR. I wonder if they’ll eventually bring HDR to all the maps in future updates.

Maybe they’re planning on phasing in the HDR because of large filesizes, or something. Or maybe they just fucked up.

Oh, so they just happened to squeeze in a few HDR maps into a 400MB download along with all the other updated models, textures, etc? Doesn’t sound likely. I’m not sure what you’re seeing is HDR. I don’t see any tonemapping exposure changes when I play these maps people seem to think have HDR.
Because of the update the table in the room where you’re meeting Barney in the first chapter is missing, does anyone else have this bug?
Yep. It was really bright before, but in order to give it shadows and stuff, they cut corners and made it the same as the normal flashlifht. It’s useless ow. DANGIT VALVE!

You don’t need to edit them, just recompile them… which is something Valve will need to do anyway considering the amount of choreography errors in the game.

I’ll stay with Cinematic Mod. Its worth its download and the final release(10.40) has dynamic shadows(using a trick). Looks sooo much better(for all the flamers: CM Music and CM HD Models are OPTIONAL)

What engine version do HL2 and EP1 use now? is it actually the OB engine? or is it something different? And has anyone come across an actual changelog? (based on confirmed file changes, not what looks different in game)
