EDIT: wait were is it?

I have it
Great book, i read it long time ago

Got it right after it came out. I found it a really insightful book about the creation of an awesome game.

I wanted to buy one, but they’re ridiculously expensive now.

I bet it is pretty damn good.

Haven’t got it…

Kind of really want it though.

You guys should buy it, it is worth it !

Productions stopped, so good luck getting a copy.

I once had an Adobe version for free, but, Got new comp, so files went missing… :frowning:

you can try on ebay , i have the torrent for it , it’s legal for me to post it?

PDF’s anyways.

I have the actual book. I bought it for $80. And it WAS worth it.

EDIT: Note this was a couple years back when money was worth a little more.

ye it’s obvious , who wants it, ask me for it , it’s the eBook , 110 megs , 260-like pages… almost perfect quality

well ima asking u.!

Not in the slightest.

I’ve had mine since mid 2007, I believe. It’s a great purchase. Great details and cool tidbits about what went into the franchise.

Got mine a while back, wasn’t too expensive from memory. I might actually read it again, I was watching some E3 beta footage of HL2 on youtube the other day and I love the early concepts and shots that are in Raising The Bar.

Going to the US next year, gonna hop over to Seattle and have a tour of Valve. Hopefully Gabe can sign my copy =]

Got the book myself, worth every penny.

I wish I could get the mass effect art book :frowning:

mass effect changed nothing in the world of gaming , it’s just a rape of KOTOR

Yeah so? I still want the art book.

I thought pirating books was silly until i saw the $200 price-tag for it. I mean, it’s got a lot of purty pictures and interesting info in it, but nothing really to justify the price(unless you’re a collector).

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
