Half Life 2 for Console

Has anyone played Half Life 2 for the Xbox? I decided to trade in a couple games to get it. I wanted to see how different HL2 was on the console. Everything appears fine but the background sound like Civil Protection and Dr. Breen’s rants seem to echo and sound muffled. Has anyone ever played on this system, is this a normal occurrence for this console version? Are the 360 or Ps3 versions any better? Otherwise, I’ll bring it back and get the PC, 360, or Ps3 version.

Any help would be appreciated,

Sean

I have only played the 360 version, and I’m pretty sure there’s no PS3 version since coding for it was to hard IIRC. But I can clearly hear Dr. Breen.

If your going to get HL2 on a console get the Orange Box on Xbox 360. Its a good deal for only 20 bucks even though it’s not on pc.

So PC or 360, got it!

Thanks guys.

Its fine for the PS3 aswell, no different than the 360 version.

Half-Life on consoles… blasphemy!

I hear EA re-coded the ps3 version without valve knowing or something. dunno

I believe the Orange Box on PS3 suffers from some framerate issues. Also, the console ports aren’t supported by Valve in DLC terms.

That doesn’t matter, I don’t have internet connection :retard:

I have The Orange Box on both the PC and 360, and I don’t see much difference. The only difference I do know, is the ability to increase the graphics (PC), and the 360 version doesn’t have the Console.

Adam… your avatar is fucking awesome!

why did that require a quote?

Thanks Hazzmat. :stuck_out_tongue:
