Valve won’t say anything about HL3 or Ep3.

If they admit they have moved on from the Half Life series, No one will buy Dota 2, and all the other shit they are busy making money off of in the Steam Sales!

It is though obvious that there will be a chopper ride, or it might just start with a crash. But is there is a chopper ride, then you suggest that we just sit down and watch everything like in Oppossing Force instead of having some actual action?

I think that HL3 will come when source 2 is ready and VALVe arent thinking on dropping the current engine yet for a new one.

But we must hope, is the only thing we can do now.

I actually have no idea if she’s done any mocap for Alyx in the past or not. Cortana, for instance, has a totally different mocap actor than voice actor.

That said, I can’t think of anything Merle Dandridge would be doing that required mocap except Half-Life, unless her career has taken a big new turn recently.

The only videogames that she had worked on is in the HL series, if this is for videogame then would be great if it is for the next HL.

Judging by every single other thing that has ever happened that seemed vaguely Half-Life 3 related, I’d say it’s more likely a joke than not.

in a crazy twist, i sort of want half life 3 to be delayed a little longer

as of now there isnt really much vaporware in the industry (in fact half life 3 is the last one of this time period)

i hope half life 3 will be a big benchmark in gaming; it could be like the crysis of 201x that can run great on your pc

Not really. It is valve, and an arena shooter one day could be a pornographic platformer the next with a few rewrites of the script, but there was a clear direction they were going for there.

I really want to see Valve do a new take on Xen. Even though Xen wasn’t exceptional gameplay-wise in HL1, I really love the visual style of it.
