Half-Life 2 disables A.I.

So today I decided to play Half-Life 2 again, but strangely, the game disables the A.I. (and I have A.I. Disabled in huge white letters in my screen) and I have another message sayin’ “Node Graph Rebuild”.

By the way I have Vista x64.

'The hell?

I remember asking for information about this once and being flamed because, according to some jackasses, that only happens to pirated copies.

Does this help?

EDIT: And how about this?

Mine is legit.

Yeah I tried this one, and it did removed the “Node Graph Rebuild”, but not the AI problem.

Thanks I’ll try this one.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to say that you were pirating. I had the same problem, even though my copy (well, I played with a friend’s steam account, but still) was legit as well.

Good luck, hope it works

No harm was intended buddy, sorry if it sounded so. And actually yes it worked ^_^. Thanks!

Heh, thank God I didn’t sound rude then. I’m glad to hear it worked!

Oh crap. I’ve that problem too and am using Win7 64bit. The game automatically runs in 64bit mode. Is there a way to use 32bit version instead?
I’ve no interest in pressing a button every time the A.I. gets stuck :\

EDIT: Oh Yeah! I got it! just add “-32bit” in the “Set launch options…” and you should get rid of this problem

Yeah, its a problem with the 64bit version of the game. Just add -32bit to the launch options and it should be fine.

I had the node graph problem. I updated my graphics driver and restarted my computer and never had the problem again. I play in 64bit mode on Vista. No problems. I never had the AI problem.
