Half Life 2 and Episode 1 Updates

Valve has finally updated HL2 and Episode 1 so they both have achievements now. yay

already threads about it

Wtf I opened this before other guy did lawl
Mods close this please

No you didn’t.

Still think the unofficial Half-Life 2 Update mod’s better…
Because the official update added a lot of bugs to the game, still doesn’t support HDR and most HL2 mods are f*cked up now…
The unofficial mod look much more like the XBox version and you can get the achievements with this mod, too…

Does the unofficial update still actually work now?

Yes it does

Why don’t Valve just buy the unofficial one and fix that?

It does support HDR… Not on all maps though for some strange reason.

Bullcrap

So did the mod.

Yes it does. It’s just not as exaggerated as it was in episode 1.

and nothing of value was lost

except they go away if you uninstall it & etc.

The achievements don’t go away anymore, thanks to Valve :3

Half life 2 didn’t need achievements.

Achievements are a nice addition to any game, they add significant replay value.

Half-Life 2 is always worth to replay, doesn’t matter if achievements are added. :3

The achievments reminded me that Half-Life 2 is a long ass game.

Fix’d :awesome:

I have an uncontrollable urge to complete achievements, so it’s gotten me to play hl2 and the episodes again.

[COLOR=‘Black’]LAMBDA LOCATOR, LITTLE ROCKET MAN, NEIGHBOR HOOD WATCH, AND GET SOME GRUB CAN GO TO HELL

It’s pretty enjoyable to complete the achievements![COLOR=‘Black’] /Sarcasm On. Love these specific achievements you mentioned. /Sarcasm off. :awesome:

Little rocket man is fun as long as you remember the areas you DON’T need to take him to.

Well, okay, those couple driving sections in which he wont STAY IN THE DAMN CAR do get just a bit frustrating

YUS. THIS. :freeman:
