Half-Life 1 Early Beta

is there a torrent or a download link that someone can point me to the old half-life 1996 beta? id really be interested in seeing it.

If were not allowed to talk about this, sorry, im not in to reading rules.

It’s impossible to get it if i’m not mistaken.

Yeah go on the BM forums and post a thread about the HL1 beta and someone will probably post a link even though it hasn’t been seen anywhere since 1999.

Gabe has been lurking around these forums waiting for this question.

:expressionless: :frowning:  > :frowning: :hmph: :aah: :mean: :rage:
That was, more or less, my reaction.

Mine was more like “No shit.”

mine was… “oh… that beta roxx. i hope there will be a link… but i don’t think there will be one.” (since i’ve searched the web for that beta, also… but some time ago)

well iv looked on some torrent sites, but all i can find is half-life version 1.011

ive got Day One if anyone wants it

edit: never seen this before ;O, its beta freeman:

He looks creepy, good thing they changed him.

who is the guy with the beard?!?!?!?!?!?! Is that :freeman:

No you fucking twat that’s Ivan the Space Biker.

It seems that you aren’t into reading wikis also…

oh ya i remeber him, me and him took a trip to venus to discuss the matter of particle physics, hes a pretty smart dude

most of the beta models were recovered from the final version or leaked online, but only a few models and materials, no playable beta.

Yes, that was gordon freeman. They just refer to that design as Ivan now, on account of his ridiculous design.

Ivan THE SPACE BIKER. You fool!

this is all the info about half-life beta but there is no links to download the game https://www.unseen64.net/2008/04/07/half-life-quiver-concept-beta-prototype/

Hmm, Is there not a mod similar to Missing information for the first half life.?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
