I hear some Electric Echo and obvious Distortion and Reverb. Sounds like he turns adds some effect – probably a special setting on his amplifier.
It’s Led-Zeppelin; he is probably just using his Led-Zeppelin guitar magic, don’t question it.
Other than the distortion and effects. I’m sure the sound your hearing is a “slide”. It’s a little glass or metal tube you put over your finger that takes away the fret noise when moving between frets. Metal ones also adds a bit of high end shrill to the notes.
It’s a wah pedal I think, it depends on where you put it in the loop on how it sounds. Try it before distortion & other effects and after to see the difference and maybe get a bit closer to replicating the sound.
