GUIStudioMDL 2.2 sucks

I don’t get it.
I’m starting to get mad on why the duck this doesn’t want to compile.

Everything in the “compile” process, is this

Created command line: C:\Program\Steam\steamapps\skumberg722\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\studiomdl.exe -game "c:\program\steam\steamapps\skumberg722\team fortress 2\tf" -nop4 -nox360 "C:\Documents and Settings\loodeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee\Skrivbord\bucket\ducky.qc"

And heres the .qc file

$cd "C:\Documents and Settings\loodeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee\Skrivbord\bucket" $modelname "player\items\heavy\heavy_domination.mdl" $model "Body" "bucket.smd" $cdmaterials "\models\player\items\heavy\" $hboxset "default"¨ $hbox 0 "bip head" -4.712 -9.009 -5.734 4.712 0.007 4.244 // Model uses material "\models\player\items\heavy\fucking_bucket.vmt" // Model uses material "\models\player\items\heavy\fucking_bucket_handle.vmt" $surfaceprop "wood" $illumposition 0.349 0.000 80.672 $sequence idle "idle" fps 30.00

Steam IS running when GUIStudioMDL is too.
This makes no sense at all, but I can almost feel it is the most obvious thing ever, just that I cannot see it.

Anyone?

use the console and not shitty helper programs
EDIT:
this

… wat?

make sure youve edited your smd’s
also your idle position looks abit sketchy
heres mine (which works)
$sequence “idle” “rough_hedge.SMD” fps 30

good luck to you sir.

btw wtf is GUIStudioMDL???

What’s cmd got to do with the console?

command line interface ≈ console

Still same, this is everything that happens

Created command line: C:\Program\Steam\steamapps\skumberg722\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\studiomdl.exe -game "c:\program\steam\steamapps\skumberg722\team fortress 2\tf" -nop4 -nox360 "C:\Documents and Settings\loodeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee\Skrivbord\bucket\ducky.qc"

GUISTUDIOMDL compiles your .qc to a .mdl

for a start, completely bypass this “guistudiomodel” you speak of. make a shortcut to studiomodel.exe which is at here:
C:\Program\Steam\steamapps\skumberg722\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\studiomdl.exe

I asume you have your steamfolder in a folder called program? u sure this isnt a speeling mistake?

anyways back to the main mini tut: paste a copy of your studiomodel shortcut into the folder your qc file is in. Next drag it on. you should get about 4 pages of commandline bullshit spat at you, if youve fuckd anything up then the size of it could range from 3 lines to 1 page. If it does screw up edit your qc because thats about the only thing i can think of that would be the problem unless you somehow manage to mess up the model, in the case the model is screwed, it should just continue on anyways.

Enjoy your cryptic reply

still same

edit:
nevermind about this, I quit this now… I’ve never even HAD this problem for a model, there is probably something wrong in the SMD.
Don’t bother anymore
