I normally tolerate environmentalist zealots, but this is too far. They are actually trying to replace my beloved steampunk with
environmentalist apocalyptic crap. Even if all this global warming C02 shit was true(which it’s not), this wouldn’t be acceptable. Therefore, I shall try to form the greenpunk boycott group. I swear that:

  1. I shall mercilessly troll any person, forum, movie, or other means of expression that supports greenpunk.
  2. I shall start hoarding steampunk goods, such as bioshock and…uh…others.
  3. I will sterilize myself with a white-hot dull knife should I ever give in to greenpunk.
  4. I will spam merciless(on other forums) until this group gets some headway.
  5. I will spend at least 100 minutes a day worshiping steampunk.

Global warming is real. There’s a reason why we’re still talking about it after literally decades of ill-informed corporate serfs screeching about how it’s a “hoax,” it’s been “debunked,” it’s a slippery slope to NWO, etc… You’d think that one of the hundreds of self-styled “global warming debunkers” would have gotten though to the masses, but no, the evidence is more clear than ever that it’s actually happening.

Global warming deniers are exactly the same as fundamentalist Christians who have been attempting to cast doubt on evolutionary theory since it was conceived because they find it ideologically inconvenient. In fact they are worse, because while at least Christian fundamentalists are serving the interests of their religious faith, Conservative fundamentalists are serving nobody except the oligarchy and their own worship of greed - oh sorry, “individualism.”

Yes, the fact that it’s a “theory” means it’s not a proven fact. No, the fact that you can argue against it forever without admitting you’re wrong does not prove it isn’t true.

Oh yeah, and “greenpunk” is painfully lame. Get some hot cosplayers and then we’ll talk.

None of you idiots know what steampunk is. Steampunk is anything which has futuristic tech with a early 20th century/late 1800s feel to it. For fucks sake, Fallout is steampunk!
