It was pretty damn optional, I don’t see how you could dislike it. Just like friends in GTA IV.

Also just because its satire doesn’t mean its appropriate to make fun of anything. That’d be kinda like saying instead of being satire on Americana, Fallout should go to a Chinese city and be satire on communism. Its just become a central component of GTA.

I disagree. America shits on the world in such a way that it’s more positively received if America makes fun of itself, whereas if a GTA game took place in, saw, Bangkok, the game would be shot down for insensitivity and other such bullshit because they’re making fun of somebody else.
