That suit is good for chemical or biological protection.
The HEV suit is not only built with those two types of protection, but also radiation protection, impact protection ( armor ), and other types. Hence why it looks bulky.
The HEV suit design is not changing just because you said “HEY CHANGE IT TO THIS” without giving a valid argument.

Yeah, I would much rather have that suit. Thatway when I get too close to radiation, I can contract Radiation Poisoning, and my health with gradually drop until I die. Or getting killed from 2 shots of a Soldier’s MP5, that’s a lot of fun too.

I realise how small a detail this is but it would simply require a texture change and would put my overly observant mind at ease
