IIRC, in HL2 you cannot fire the magnum as fast as the usp. There is potential for more delay between magnum rounds compared to usp rounds.
Somehow I found the HL1 Magnum to be easier to use than the HL2 one.
Probably because of the faster reload, abundance in ammo in the facility and your reserve, retarded enemy AI causing stand-stills and the constant close-quarter combat.
Probably more of the last two reasons than the others. I found it easier to pop headshots with than the HL2 one.
I mean the imaginary delay between pressing the primary fire button and the bullet actually leaving the barrel, not the fire rate.
Aha! This is due to that imaginary delay, I would like to think!
excellent solution
Oh, I never noticed. I will have to pay closer attention next time I play.
Yeah I never noticed any sort of delay.
Me neither.
Probably due to the concrete crosshair of HL1. The aimpoint in HL2 bounces around with the recoil.
Turn off auto aim
Ouch, who actually uses auto aim? PC != console
zoingers.
Crossbow with actual scope? If so, that would be much cooler
No, i mean the crosshair doesn’t move due to the weapon being fired, but in HL2 the recoil makes it bounce slightly. If you line up the HL1 aimer and fire without touching the mouse all the bullets will hit in the same place.
Are talking about the whole screen moving to simulate recoil?
If so, then it too will effect our hud as it changes the camera’s angles which the hud relies on.
Fanboys = Faggots
I’m not a fanboy, Im saying there is no need for pc auto-aim since one can use their hand, wrist, and arm to aim…not just their thumb.
I own a ps3, but play shooters only on my pc. Thanks!
Right, because assuming someone is a fanboy because they write “PC != console” is totally jumping to a conclusion.
admit it kids, without bill gates, we all would be outside right now playing basketball or some stupid stuff.
Ew, basketball
I program outside on my laptop all the time…in fact i’m outside right now
