Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

In the hallway after the airlock, right? The screens that show stuff like the hydroelectric dam, and an ad for the Black Mesa security team and stuff.

Oh, those! The advert screen thingies!

It’s fairly near the beginning, I think it’s the first time you see zombies. There are posters made up of rotating parts, so that the poster changes on each rotation.

EDIT: yeah, those thingies!

Yeah, they’re in there.
Here’s proof.

T’ain’t what I asked. I asked how many of them there were, since I only remember four in the original.

You remembered correctly

Using high-level mathematic algorithms, we can safely and accurately calculate the amount of “screen thingies” that will make feature in the MOD.

Let x equal the unit measurement of ‘awesome’ in the original Half-Life.

Black Mesa’s ‘awesome,’ y, is unequivocally equal to 311.758% of x. (Note: the % sign does not signify modulus in this context)

So, y=3.11758x
If we take the amount of screen thingies in Half-Life, 4, we can plug that into x to find y (the amount of screen thingies in Black Mesa).

y=3.11758*4=12.47032
y rounded to the nearest tenth would be 12.5
Therefore, There will be twelve and one half screen thingies in Balck Meas.

everyone, put your hands up if you understood the relevance of that.
I know I didn’t

You mean you’ve never heard of the Dillxn Screen Thingies Theorum before? Sheesh.

Dude, don’t admit stuff like that. You’ve already made enough of a fool of yourself.

rotflmao.
The “Dillxn Screen Thingies Theorum”. bloody heck, what has the world come to.

Also, I think drinking too much soup can have side effects.

I don’t have a hand -chewed his hands off-

very true.

EDIT: I can even wait another 5 months If I had to. As long as its for the good.

Don’t make me unleash putinface.jpeg again.

On a serious note I’m pretty sure that rubbish bin will be recreated soup, what I’d like to know is if each panel will be an individual destructable object like the original.

I’m not the one who asked about the bin, but… Um… Thanks?
:3

Weren’t you? Ah fuck it, I’m not scrolling back up to quote that.

:’(

I think there should be a proper Facebook group. There’s a couple out there, but none of them are up-to-date… I don’t use twitter (nor do I have an account), so I don’t get to follow the updates T_T I also think it would expand the amount of interest in this project.

You don’t need to have an account for twitter - just use anything the lets you know of RSS feed updates.

Huh… I guess I learned something new today  Thanks.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
