You really have no concept of diplomacy do you? I could get into an argument over how soldiers are not the reason wars go bad and that politics are, but this is not the place. All I will say is that your suggestion will most likely never get into this mod because it’s that late in development, it would not fit in with a Half Life style game and you’ve argued it so feverently the userbase would probably suggest NOT including it.
Or, you know, it could be because James said one post above yours that it will never get into the mod.

Free aim is a bad idea, it’s unrealistic and no one fires like that. If you wanted realism, you could add iron sights, but I don’t see that happening, and that’s because they’re not going for total outright realism, I mean the game is about a theoretical physicist fighting an entire alien race and taking on some secret branch of the US military. Realism, while important to some extent, is not the ultimate goal of this mod.
