I recently came across this screenshot:

And while I really like what’s been done to this level, I think that the bright yellow walkway sticks out like a sore thumb. The rest of the level has this worn and delipidated look to it, but the walkway just looks too new in my opinion.

Maybe give it a regular metallic (not shiny) texture that’s a wee bit rusted?

Yes I realize they’re still WIP, but that doesn’t mean they’ll automatically change. And I also realize that they’re bright yellow to reduce the risk of falling, but maybe you could put some railings on them? Or have this black-yellow stripy pattern along the edge?

It’s not bad per se, but I just think it sticks out a little too much for such an abandoned facility.

EDIT: Or were you saying that they have already been changed?

Well i think this bit is from On A Rail so that’s the rocket you launch in order to set up the anti-portal satellite.
Seeming that rocket has recently been worked on this area isn’t abandoned or unmaintained, while the surrounding silo may be permanently damaged by previous launches.
The yellow platforms seem like temporary floor that folds down to gain access to the nose-cone of the rocket.

Minor tie-ins to portal. Maybe a cube, a paper, conversation. It’s a silly idea but it’s been added to the HL storyline, so it might be neat to see a cookie somewhere.
