I’ve seen worse suggestions though. Like a crowbar quick button (like the kinfe in Bad Company 2) and ironsights. Though it is a pretty bad suggestion.

How about an NPC other than just a security guard helps you fight. Like, a scientist who managed to get a security guard’s handgun. After all, the scientist would know how to fire it because of the Hazard Course. Maybe he would panic more and be less accurate but we could still at least shoot the damn thing.

um… dont guards do that? I know it is not designed to let you bring them all the way through the game, but here and there they do help you.
