Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

Very good point.

Well that’s HL for you. You could blow up a tank with a crowbar. It was basically Valve assuming the player wasn’t going to waste 15 minutes whacking a tank with a crowbar or wasting their crossbow ammo and not limiting the damage they receive to certain weapons.

I thought it was just because they weren’t able to limit certain damage types?

And because it’s a game.

I reject your answer because it makes too much sense!

Hey, long time no see !

Yeah I have just decided not to post as much cause usually I have nothing to add. But it’s nice to know I was missed.

Hey! Javid’s back! Bean came back too, so the old gang is trickling back in. :3
You’re always good for disscussion, even if you have no new suggestions.

I have a really cool idea. Right before the portal to Xen if you play in opposing force you see gordon run in before you can kill him. It would be awesome to see if you looked backwards while entering the portal you will see the back door open and shepard try to get you!

SHEPHARD WILL NOT APPEAR!!!

I dream of the day that someone create a monitor that allows reaching through the internet and strangling people in their computer chairs.

If by “really cool” you mean terrible. Players will be too busy dodging glowing orange balls of death to think to turn around in mid air to look back at a door for some reason.

Edit:
:ninja:

This Gearbox’s attempt to create a link with the original Half-Life was a terrible idea, anyway.

ok I know you guys are too far into the production of the mod to really do this, but on the subject of the MP5/M4 debate, have you ever thought of working it like in HL2? how about having the MP5 as the smaller weapon like the SMG1, and the M4 as the bigger weapon like the AR2? anyone ever thought of that?

After 5+ years, I’m sure it’s crossed their mind.

Yeah, and they made a good choice by not including the M4.

in what way?

because they both function exactly the same

why not change it?

-Sigh- you’re kidding right?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
