That’s good to hear, the 2009 deadline was more so for the developers than us anyways, I suggest you keep that deadline internal for as long as possible, in order to protect the “integrity” of the mod and it’s team. I am pleased to see that you are well on your way to achieving your goals though.

I have asked about this before in the ‘Got a Question?’ thread, but I didn’t get an answer. I think that reloading should be done manually as it was in the first Half-Life. It might be a small suggestion, but I think it’s worth considering :slight_smile: I enjoyed preparing for battle in this way and it was also a good way to kill time while running down a hallway or maybe even on an elevator.

I got to a point once where I used to twitch reload when I was still shooting at a target. Not a sound strategy IMO.

I usually make one hard save at the beginning of a new level and then just use the ol’ quicksave/quickload routine :stuck_out_tongue:

That makes no sense. You want manual reloading, the only way you’re going to get it is by creating it yourself.

Autoreload isn’t very realistic and even if I don’t really like it, I got used to it. In one word : compromise.

I’m a twitch reloader too, but manual reloads are annoying as hell when you run out of ammo mid-battle.

Hey guys!
I was checking your wiki and i noticed that you were not going to put Magnusson in the game. I guess you’ve probably already explained why you made this choice. But then i watched a video on youtube about ester eggs in episode two showing magnusson talking about the “micro waves” incident and then (hl 1)gordon in the cafeteria, with this very microwaves while and scientist shouting on him: (at 1:56)

Is this just a fan speculation or does magnusson truly appear in HL 1?

If it’s him, why not including him in BM?

Magnusson will not appear. That was his casserole you ruined, however you didn’t ruin it infront of him. Magnusson actually stepped out and appointed one of the men in that room to watch over it. After you destroy it and leave, and he returned, that person told him what you did, and thus, he’s had the grudge ever since.

Is there any information which says it was Magnusson? No. So it’s more reasonable to not include him.
