lol what, Catz? I’m confused what you mean by “jail time bit.”
probably an inside joke between her and a dev or something.
My memory is bit fuzzy, but I think she is referring to a mod in which if you noclipped you would be put to a jail cell for cheating.
Hmm…and probably a picture of her shaking her finger at you like “Bad boy!”
Soda machines need to make the thump-thump-thud-thud-thud-clank sound that the soda can makes as it moves through the machine.
This. I believe the mod was “The citizen”?
Yeah, and if they don’t already, they need to “hum” when you’re near them, as real soda machines do.
No it wouldn’t have. But that’s just my opinion. However, there is an actual response from the devs relating to this.
NO GRAVITY GUN IN BLACK MESA[/SIZE]
Read the faq.
:’( No one read my post.
Okay fine.
And why exactly would Kleiner still have a hipster 70’s hairstyle?
…Because he’s a 70’s style hipster?
He said it was from around the time of the Black Mesa Incinident, so why would it change much, aside from greyer hair and less of it.
I don’t see any evidence to suggest that cover, or the picture for it was supposed to be anytime recent let alone around the time of the BMI.
I think it dates to the time of the BMI because of three things. One, the cover looks very modern. Two, he wouldn’t be hired just for being an MIT professor, and because Gordon recently graduated from MIT, he must have done something so amazing it would catch the eye of Black Mesa, like the magazine, and must have been hired somewhere between when Gordon graduated and Half-Life, because if he was hired before then he wouldn’t have been able to teach at MIT due to being underground in New Mexico. Three, he’s one of those people who are 30 years behind the times.
In other words you have no reasonable reason for thinking it’s the right time-frame whatsoever.
The BMI occured during 200X. The cover of that magazine looks like it could be from the 90s.
Oh ok, I’ll take your word for it. :meh:
So, specializing in extremely advanced technology such as portals is being 30 years behind the times, eh?
Who the hell are you, anyway?
Someone who is probably insane, reading over my post.
Three was supposed to be a joke.
Aside from the VOX announcements, it would make sense to have a couple of announcements made by members of staff addressing something, or requesting that someone goes to a specific department. I know the VOX already had those, but I always got the feeling that it was for more important announcements.
As much as I like the VOX, the fake voice always grated a little on me. Just a couple of human voices would make it fine, unless people love the VOX for some weird reason.
