Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

Yeah, everyone knows black people don’t have access to retinal scanners. :3

Huh. Wasn’t it said that Kleiner would be the injured scientist next to Eli? Nothing wrong with the change, just curious.

Not to start this whole thing up again; but this is a physics lab m8. Where is the contamination? I mean a biology or chem lab, I get it. But not in a physics setting. Gordon ain’t no biologist or chemist. He’s a physicist! Get with it!

Oh, perhaps I misunderstood, or remembered incorrectly. Or maybe the level design there is changed. Are the critical computer and the control room closer to each other now, by chance?

Oh. Heh, I misunderstood. Well awesome, makes sense.

Then why would Barney say, “Thats what you said last time. I still have nightmares about that cat.” It makes no sense to be talking about the RC and then make a reference to nightmares of a cat that wasn’t there at the time of the RC.

Hi,
I have a suggestion about the gluon gun:
In the development video the gun itself has this nice
blue shine that lights up the gloves and the area, can this also be applied
to the beam itself? It would be cool to see dark/low light areas lit up blue when you fire in them from the outside, or just long hallways.

So there’s one scientist missing, right? There were three in the original, plus the one in the controls. The black one (AFAIK, he’s not random; always black) opens the door for you, and in the following chamber there are two scientists: another black scientist and the Einstein-looking one, who is supposed to be Kleiner now and should’ve had the other model (as Marc Laidlaw stated). In other words, you have merged the first black guy with the supposed Kleiner, right?

Hello,
I was looking at some of the screen shots of Black Mesa and noticed there are some Saguaro Cacti in some of the outside parts of the game. Saguaros range from southern Arizona to western Sonora, Mexico. There aren’t any, anywhere in New Mexico.

Congratulations, Jorelm, you will be the one person who’s disappointed by that

:expressionless:

lol.

As far as I know, the Gluon Gun does actually do that :jizz:

He’s right though, and he’s in the right place too. Remember guys, It’s All in the Detail.

(small suggestions that don’t warrant their own thread)

You registered just to say that?:meh:

Now that it’s pointed out. I fear its going to to bug me on all of the surface parts. > :frowning:

Does that mean he’ll be the “power to stage one emitters” voice in the testchamber? :3

In the blooper reel, that very line is said - and it sounds very Kleiner-esque.

If that’s the case, I hope you will (or are able to) include the “Ah, hello Gordon Freeman!” clip, since it’s from Kleiner’s original voice actor.

I only ask because I couldn’t tell if that was supposed to be him in the trailer.

All of the scientists in HL1 were voiced by him.
