Gordon Freeman Action Figure!

I’m sure there are others here who are interested in this sort of collectable, anyway 30th of September the first(to my knowledge) line of Valve/HL action figures are being released, including our favourite silent protagonist, Gordon Freeman.

I pre-ordered mine from forbidden planet, probably the best option if you live in the UK.

If you live in the US I’d suggest entertainment earth, I’ve used both before and they are reliable suppliers.

I haven’t linked either because I’m unsure if it’s against the rules here, but both online stores are easy enough to find.

Yes the head sculpt is far from perfect, but in this price range that’s often expected.

Wow at last. I’d love a houndeye plush though.

Valve missed their opportunity for the best collectible IMO.

Weighted Storage/Companion Cube paperweight.

I’ve been considering making my own, but don’t have access to the tools (I think) I would need to make it right. Plus my painting skill is zero. I could make the shape without trouble, it’s the painting…

Saw this already, kinda wish it was based on the mk IV HEV

I wish the Valve license had been picked up by Hot Toys, Gentle Giant or Sideshow, then we’d have truly amazing figures far closer to what we see in the artwork, but they’d cost ten times what the NECA 7" figure costs, still, it would be worth it for me!

I’ll probably end up doing a repaint & minor re-sculpt of mine when it arrives much like I did with my Bioshock big daddy to bring it closer to Valves concept art of Freeman.

I’ve buyed it!

I’ve always found it slightly bizarre, these visual depictions of Gordon Freeman, seeing as you never actually see him, apart from his hand.

For the same reason, I also found it slightly bizarre when he won that Greatest Gaming Hero Of All Time award, because he never actually says anything or does anything of his own accord. It’s funny how a silent almost-invisible non-character devoid of personality that you control like a puppet can be considered a hero.

Anyway, I always wanted a rubber headcrab, but a lifesize stuffed houndeye would be great. More than anything though, I want a good rubber crowbar, but those I’ve seen online are either all silver or cost about 3 times as much as a real metal one!

Very nice…

Oh wow, that’s so cool xD I’ve been wondering why they
never come up with stuff like action figures for Valve games…

If I saw this in a store, I don’t think I could resist…

They should make a Vortigaunt one! That would be beyond awesome…
