google problem

Any of you guys have problems opening Google? I do. When I press enter nothing happens. It’s rather strange as everything else works fine.

Seems fine here.

Guess it’s just me then.

yep, works fine for me too.

Google for the solution.

hurrr your so funny

Are you using IE?

If so, leave.

First, www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com.

Second, browser <> IE. Does it work in Firefox?

Third, ping https://www.google.com. Any dropped packets?

Fourth, tracert https://www.google.com. Where does it get hung up, if at all?

Finally, clear history/cache/temp files, restart system, try again.

You most likely have spyware taking over your cookies and is redirecting every google result to a spam page that doesn’t exist anymore.

This too. I knew I had a 5th point I wanted to make. Run Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D, maybe Super AntiSpyware as well.

It’s okay now. For some reason it’s working again btw should I worry about this spyware you guys are talking about?

Maybe the spyware redirect server was just fixed?

Honestly though clear your cookies and you should be fine.

I would still say to run a couple of anti spyware just to be sure. That said, is there a way to make a restore point manually rather than wait for the computer to decide what a good restore point is?

Yup. Depends on your version of Windows, of course. In XP, Start–>Programs–>Accessories–>System Tools–>System Restore. In Vista or 7, you can just use the Start Search and type System Restore. In either case, there should always be an option to Create a Restore Point.

Now that he has a timeout, he should have plenty of time to run some house cleaning scans.

google is timing out just like his account, hur hur :retard:
